—Gwen

Gwen and I have only been friends for the short time we’ve been at college and though we rarely see each other—fashion students rarely see the light of day—I value Gwen’s friendship and our sporadic coffee dates very highly. Gwen is the kind of person who, when she asks how you are, waits and really listens to your answer. She has a beautiful outlook on life and sometimes I wish I could see the world through her eyes. The passion and vision she puts into her work is captivating. When we were in first year I was always blown away by how she could turn a childhood story or memory into a visceral and engaging work of art…not to mention this girls got drawing skills like nobody else I know. Gwen is one of those women who surrounds herself in love and doesn’t do gossip or bitching or anything nasty, a trait I find utterly inspiring and humbling. You’re the sweetest Gwen, thank you for being my friend! xo
